End of Summer Luau

  • 7-10 p.m. Friday
  • Heaton’s Reef, 3500 Ocean Drive, Vero Beach
  • Celebrate the end of summer with a DJ, a pig roast, light bites and a welcome cocktail. Seating is limited and available on first-come, first-serve basis.

“The Sound of Music” in Concert

  • 3-5:30 p.m. Sunday
  • Vero Beach High School Performing Arts Center, 1707 16th St., Vero Beach
  • The Space Coast Symphony Orchestra has teamed up with Central Florida Vocal Arts and Opera del Sol to present “The Sound of Music” in concert, featuring a trove of cherished songs.

St. Lucie County

International Homeless Animals Day Celebration             

  • 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday
  • The Humane Society of St. Lucie County, 8890 Glades Cut Off Road, Port St. Lucie
  • The event includes adoption specials, treats and toy specials, shelter animal sponsorship opportunities, activities and food trucks.

Summer Bash 4: The Pure Zeppelin Experience

  • 7:30 p.m. Saturday
  • Sunrise Theatre, 117 S. Second St., Fort Pierce
  • The Led Zeppelin tribute show delivers all the musical majesty of Great Britain’s rock ‘n’ roll titans complete with a laser light show. It’s presented by Artists for MS, and proceeds benefit multiple sclerosis.
