Here’s your Five on Friday weekend update for the Treasure Coast.

Indian River County

Mulligan’s Skim Jam

  • 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday
  • Mulligan’s Beach House/Sexton Plaza, 1025 Beachland Blvd., Vero Beach
  • The 15th annual event is the world’s largest one-day skim contest. Sign in during the rider meeting 8-9 a.m. The first heat is in the water at 9 a.m. Awards ceremony and official after-party will be at Walking Tree Brewery at 5 p.m. Proceeds benefit the Vero Beach Lifeguard Association. Raffles start on the beach, and prizes will be announced later in the day at the brewery (no need to be present to win).

St. Lucie County

Friday Fest

  • 5:30-8:30 p.m. Friday
  • Marina Square, 1 Avenue A, Fort Pierce
  • Kick off the three-day Labor Day weekend with the longest running street party on the Treasure Coast. It includes food and drinks, music, arts and crafts, bounce houses, face painting and fairy hair.

Kill the Kegs      

  • 6-9 p.m. Saturday
  • Pierced Ciderworks, 411 N. Second St., Fort Pierce
  • Enjoy 10 exclusive flavors and unlimited tastings until the kegs run dry. Tickets include a free souvenir tasting glass and lanyard. The Rolling Lobstah will be selling food. A silent disco starts at 8 p.m. Ages 21 and older only.

Pups & Brews   

  • 2-6 p.m. Sunday
  • House of Brews, 3311 N.W. Main Ave., Jensen Beach
  • Celebrate four-legged friends with the Humane Society of St. Lucie County where $1 from each pint will go to the pups. Also, meet some special dogs up for adoption.
