More closures:Schools, spanctivities, government offices closing spans Nicole spanpprospanches

Publix stores across the Treasure Coast will close early today in preparation for Tropical Storm Nicole.

Indian River and St. Lucie County residents will have until 12 p.m. to do any final shopping before they close for the rest of the day. St. Lucie stores plan to reopen Thursday morning at 7 a.m. and Indian River plans to reopen Thursday at 9 a.m. 

Martin County shoppers will have until 2 p.m. today to pick up last-minute items before the stores there close early with plans to reopen Thursday at 7 a.m.
