PORT ST. LUCIE — A Port St. Lucie man claimed a $1 million prize from the 500X THE CASH Scratch-Off lottery game, the Florida Lottery announced Wednesday.
Jeffrey Voltaire, 41, of Port St. Lucie, chose to get his winnings as a one-time, lump payment of $820,000. He claimed his prize in Tallahassee at the lottery headquarters.

Reached Wednesday by phone, Voltaire declined comment.
Voltaire bought the winning ticket from a 7-Eleven store in the 1600 block of Southwest St. Lucie West Boulevard in St. Lucie West, and the store will get a $2,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
The 500X THE CASH is a $50 game, and has a $25 million top prize.
