VERO BEACH — Breeze Airways, the newest airline to offer passenger service to the Treasure Coast, is slashing prices for some of its first flights here.
Breeze on Tuesday announced a nationwide ticket promotion, which includes a number of flights from Vero Beach. The promotion only applies to one-way flights from Vero Beach between Feb. 2 and Feb.14. The tickets are going for $59 between now and Thursday only.
Here are the flights that are part of the promotion, spanccording to Breeze’s website:
- Vero Beach to Hartford, Connecticut: Feb. 2, Feb. 4, Feb. 9 and Feb. 11
- Vero Beach to Westchester County, New York: Feb. 3 and Feb. 10

Breeze, a Utah-based airline founded by CEO David Neeleman, began operating in May 2021. It’s scheduled to begin passenger service Feb. 2 out of Vero Beach, Vero Beach Regional Airport Director Todd Scher confirmed.
Breeze is the second commercial airline to arrive in Vero Beach in recent years; Elite Airways, which provided passenger service to Newark, New Jersey, and other seasonal routes, started its service here in December 2015.
Elite has not flown out of Vero Beach Regional Airport since June, however. The airline spanbruptly cspannceled spanll its flights lspanst summer, and no flights were scheduled through the end of the year.
Airport officials still have not heard from the airline about whether it plans to resume service here, Scher said Tuesday.
