Dimension: 6 inches (15.25cm)

A fantastic example of 16th-century Chinese export porcelain, this blue and white dish dates to the Jiajing to Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty (1522-1620).

**Design & Decoration**
The central medallion features a dynamically painted phoenix, depicted in a characteristic folk style with bold, expressive blue strokes and surrounded by stylized clouds. The rim is decorated with a classic "brocade-ground" and scrolling floral border, a hallmark of mid-to-late Ming export wares.

**Condition**
Hairline on the rim. In good antique condition with minor age-related wear, including faint crazing to the glaze and minor fritting to the rim—consistent with its 400-year history. The base retains its original unglazed footring and a rare blue square single-character mark, along with an old collector's label reading "Ming.".

the wooden base is not included. For display purpose only.
