This selection features 46 envelopes from letters sent by Dutch graphic designer Karel Martens to his lover Ruth between 1962 and 1963. Each envelope was handmade using printing ink and a spoon to create the patterns. Martens was stationed in the welfare service room of the Prince Hendrik Barracks during his military service.
