This is a unique pair of Laurel Burch baby snow leopard earrings in black enamel with purple spots and outlines in gold plate cloisonne technique finish from the 1980s. We know the earrings are an earlier pair since they only have "LB" on the back. Later earrings have her full name and the full name of the earrings.
This pair is gently used with only one previous owner. No chips or repairs. There are some very light scratches and minimal wear around the edges.
Laurel Burch was an American artist and designer known for her colorful and whimsical jewelry and artwork. She began her career in the 1960s, crafting jewelry from found objects. Her designs often featured animals, particularly cats, and people. She continued to create art until her death in 2007. The brand is now ran by her daughter.
