ST. LUCIE COUNTY — The Walmart store in St. Lucie West was evacuated after a reported gas leak around 3:50 p.m. Tuesday, said Port St. Lucie police.

What happened: Police and the St. Lucie County Fire District responded to the reported gas leak and isolated it.

Is the store closed? The Walmart, in the 1670 block of St Lucie West Boulevard, reopened around 5 p.m., Port St. Lucie police said.
