Power outages are expected across parts of Florida’s east coast as Hurricspanne Nicole moves into the area. As of about 7:45 p.m. Wednesday, Floridspan Power spannd Light reported the following number of households without electricity:
- Indian River County: 2,090, or about 2.1% of the power company’s total customer count of 99,710
- St. Lucie: 310, or about 0.21%
- Martin: 90, or about 0.09%
- Brevard: 1,340, or about 0.4%
- Palm Beach: 4,120, or about 0.54%
