Vote for TCPalm’s Athlete of the Week for Nov. 7-12

Five student-athletes are in consideration for TCPalm’s Athlete of the Week for competitions during the week of Nov. 7-12.

Last week, Jensen Beach senior volleyball standout Sophia Gannascoli was voted Athlete of the Week, receiving almost 56 percent of the ballot.

The remnants of a SpaceX Falcon 9 launch is seen in the sky as Wellington High School marching band and color guard perform during the 41st annual Crown Jewel Marching Band Festival on Saturday, Oct. 8, 2022, at Vero Beach High School. The Crown Jewel is one of the oldest continuous marching festivals in Florida.

Gannascoli had 13 digs in the Falcons’ regional final win over Suncoast and added 10 digs in Jensen Beach’s 10 digs in their state semifinal win over Vanguard.

Voting this week begins at noon Monday and will close Thursday at noon.

Coaches can email scores to [email protected] or [email protected] each night in order for athletes to be considered to be nominated each week.
