At the end of each season, TCPspanlm selects All-Area teams recognizing the top athletes in each sport.
Area coaches nominated players from their own teams and from other schools and along with research going through the data for games, meets, matches and tournaments throughout the regular season and postseason, TCPspanlm makes its selections of the All-Area teams.

Golfer of the Year
Jules Gentil, Morningside Academy
Year: Senior
Highlights: In his lone season competing on the Treasure Coast, Gentil was outstanding in the big events. At the SSAC Championship in September, he shot a 5-under 66 to take second overall and took medalist honors at the District 13-1A Championship shooting a 4-under 68. Gentil fired a 2-under 70 to tie for third at the Region 4-1A Championship and shot an even-par 72 to finish in a tie for sixth at the FHSAA 1A Championship.
First Team
Shawn Tyson, South Fork
Year: Senior
Highlights: Tyson had another excellent season with several low rounds including taking medalist honors at the District 8-2A Championship shooting a 3-under 69 and carded a 1-over 72 to take the top spot at the Region 2-2A Championship. A wrist injury sustained at the FHSAA 2A Championship during the first round unfortunately put an end to Tyson’s high school career prematurely.
James Hassell, Vero Beach
Year: Senior
Highlights: Hassell, a South Florida signee, overcame early season struggles to hit his stride at the end of the year, finishing second at the District 8-3A Championship shooting a 2-over 74 and bounced back from a 79 at regionals to shoot 1-over 73 to finish his career at the FHSAA 3A Championship with a tie for seventh.
Jackson Hiller, Vero Beach
Year: Senior
Highlights: Hiller, an Oglethorpe signee, was a steady performer all year for Vero, finishing third at the District 8-3A Championship shooting a 3-over 75 and tied for 21st at the Region 2-3A Championship after a round of 2-over 74. Hiller shot a 79 to finish in a tie for 45th at the FHSAA 3A Championship.
Tyler Foegen, South Fork
Year: Senior
Highlights: Foegen backed up a strong junior year with another solid season for the Bulldogs, finishing sixth at the District 8-2A Championship and shot a 4-over 75 to finish in a tie for second at the Region 2-2A Championship. At the FHSAA 2A Championship, Foegen shot rounds of 82 and 80 to finish in a tie for 34th.
Parker Heaney, Vero Beach
Year: Sophomore
Highlights: Heaney emerged as a key member of Vero’s lineup during the year and finished eighth at the District 8-3A Championship and shot a 79 at the Region 2-3A Championship before carding a 4-over 76 to finish in a tie for 29th at the FHSAA 3A Championship.
Owen Rogers, Morningside Academy
Year: Senior
Highlights: Rogers had a strong year for the Eagles, finishing in a tie for 19th at the District 13-1A Championship, shot a 79 to finish in a tie for 24th at the Region 4-1A Championship and shot a 78 to finish in a tie for 32nd at the FHSAA 1A Championship.
Pavel Anisimov, John Carroll Catholic
Year: Senior
Highlights: Anisimov made big improvements from last year and had strong postseason performances shooting a 3-over 75 to tie for third at the District 13-1A Championship and tied for 28th at the Region 4-1A Championship shooting an 81.
J. Paul Jacobs, Pine School
Year: Junior
Highlights: Jacobs performed his best when it mattered the most in the postseason, shooting a 4-over 76 to finish in a tie for fifth at the District 13-1A Championship and shot a 79 to finish in a tie for 24th at the Region 4-1A Championship.
