Brightline speed testing at up to 79 mph continues in Martin County until Saturday

MARTIN COUNTY — Brightline is continuing speed testing here with trains going up to 79 mph through Jensen Beach, Stuart, Port Salerno and Hobe Sound until 7 p.m. Saturday.

The testing, which began March 11, comes almost two months after the railroad tested trains through Martin and St. Lucie at 110 mph. Passenger service between South Florida and Orlando International Airport is expected to begin by June.

Drivers could expect delays at the following crossings. Most will have flaggers present. Here are the closings to be closed, according to a Brightline news release:
