At the end of each season, TCPspanlm selects All-Area teams recognizing the top athletes in each sport. Area coaches nominated players from their own teams and from other schools and along with research going through the data for games, meets, matches and tournaments throughout the regular season and postseason, TCPspanlm makes its selections of the All-Area teams.

Athlete of the Year
Brynn Stoneburg, Jensen Beach
Year: Junior
Highlights: Stoneburg, a Navy commit, broke through with her first gold medal in an individual event at the FHSAA 2A Championships winning the 500 freestyle. She added a silver medal in the 200 freestyle and helped the 400 freestyle relay team finish fourth and the 200 freestyle relay team finish fifth.
First Team
Madeline Shields, Vero Beach
Year: Senior
Highlights: Shields, a Tulane commit, wrapped up her high school career strong winning a district title in the 100 butterfly and was a regional runner-up in the butterfly before taking ninth place in the 100 butterfly and a 12th-place finish in 50 freestyle at the FHSAA 4A Championships.
Melody McAfee, Jensen Beach
Year: Senior
Highlights: McAfee was a critical part of the Falcons’ 200 and 200 freestyle relay teams finishing fourth and fifth at the FHSAA 2A Championships. McAfee also added a 40th-place finish in the 100 backstroke and was 16th in the 200 individual medley.
Alexandra Stern, St. Edward’s
Year: Junior
Highlights: Stern, a University of Miami commit, had a successful season winning district titles in the 200 individual medley and 500 freestyle, won a regional title in the 500 and at the FHSAA 1A Championships, she finished 17th in the 200 individual medley and took 22nd in the 500 freestyle.
Mary Twomey, Sebastian River
Year: Sophomore
Highlights: Twomey put together a consistent season for the Sharks, posting a district runner-up finish in 500 freestyle, was a regional runner-up in the 500 freestyle and 100 breaststroke and at the FHSAA 3A Championships took 17th in the breaststroke and 19th in the freestyle.
Madison Newman, Jensen Beach
Year: Freshman
Highlights: In her first high school season, Newman was a district and regional runner-up in diving before finishing ninth at the FHSAA 2A Championships.
Julia Hirt, South Fork
Year: Junior
Highlights: Hirt on the diving board continued her improvement, finishing as a district runner-up and at the FHSAA 3A Championship just missed the podium earning a ninth-place finish for the Bulldogs.
Julia Mesic, Fort Pierce Westwood
Year: Freshman
Highlights: Mesic had an impressive freshman season, winning district titles in both the 100 and 500 freestyle and finished 23rd in the 500 freestyle at the FHSAA 3A Championships.
Zoe Keppel, Sebastian River
Year: Junior
Highlights: Keppel was a district champion in the 100 backstroke and at the FHSAA 3A Championships swam to a 22nd place finish for the Sharks while also helping the 200 medley relay team take 13th and the 400 freestyle relay team take 18th.
Calla Keenan, South Fork
Year: Junior
Highlights: Keenan was a district champion in the 200 individual medley and helped the Bulldog 400 freestyle relay team take 16th and the 200 freestyle relay team take 18th at the FHSAA 3A Championships.
Cameron Kindig, Jensen Beach
Year: Junior
Highlights: Kindig was a district runner-up in the 500 freestyle and at the FHSAA 3A Championships finished 16th and also was part of the 400 freestyle relay team that finished fourth and the 200 freestyle relay team that finished fifth.
