Boys Basketball

John Carroll Catholic 76, Port St. Lucie 73 (OT): Aidan Singleton scored 19 points and added six assists and Tony Colebrook added 18 points including the game-tying 3-point play to send the game into overtime where the Rams prevailed on the road.

Colebrook converted a layup with 11.1 seconds to go and made the free throw to complete an 11-point deficit to begin the fourth quarter for John Carroll.

In overtime, Pat Silas knocked in a jumper and a 3-pointer to give the Rams (10-2) a 72-67 lead.

With Port St. Lucie trailing 72-69, Ryan Rodriguez tied the game with a minute remaining with a 3-pointer but John Carroll’s Caden Johnson hit a pair of free throws to give the Rams a 74-72 lead with 23.5 seconds to go.

Rodriguez had an opportunity to tie the game at the foul line with 13.6 seconds to go but went 1-for-2 and Collin Jefferson would make two free throws to give John Carroll a 76-73 lead and a final 3-point heave from Rodriguez was short.

Joaquin Ruiz scored 12 points and grabbed eight rebounds, Jefferson added 10 points and Silas scored nine points for John Carroll.

Rodriguez scored a game-high 27 points, Mahkari Chambliss added 20 points and five assists and TJ Schuck went for a double-double with 12 points and 17 rebounds in the loss for the Jaguars (5-9).

Centennial 81, Jensen Beach 48: Joesph Lezeau II scored 13 points and grabbed nine rebounds and Zachary Brown also scored 13 points and grabbed six rebounds to lead the Eagles (10-3) to victory. Owen Jean added eight points and seven rebounds and Jaydon Washington and Micah Davis each chipped in seven points for Centennial.

Phillip Clark scored 12 points in the loss for the Falcons.

Boys Soccer

St. Edward’s 4, Lincoln Park Academy 3: Brogan Buck scored two goals and added an assist to lead the way for the Pirates (9-1-1). Patricio Argote and Jah Jeune each added a goal and an assist, William Kourakis picked up an assist and Alex Lee made 15 saves for St. Edward’s.

Kaden Barela netted a hat trick for all three of the Greyhound’s goals for the match.

Centennial 71, Port St. Lucie 44: Jaydon Washington scored 20 points to lead the Eagles (11-3) to their seventh straight win. Joesph Lezeau II added 17 points and Ty Owens scored 11 points for Centennial.

Ryan Rodriguez scored a game-high 21 points in the loss for the Jaguars (5-10).

Girls Basketball

Jensen Beach 65, Rockledge 47: Elizabeth Fitzwater scored 26 points to lead the way for the Falcons (10-4). Lauren Cioffi added 13 points, eight rebounds and seven assists for Jensen Beach.
